New Key Task feature Enhances Handsam's Tasklist Reporting for Trust and Cluster Managers

In response to client requests, Handsam have developed a new report type called 'Key Task Grid View'.

This new functionality allows users who have responsibilities and access across more than one academy to group tasks from different schools and different categories together into one easy report. The display then allows managers to see whether the task has been completed in the selected timeframe, is late, or set in the future and what feedback and documentation is available.

In this way, a grid showing evidence-based compliance can be created which allows for easy identification of gaps and non-compliances as these will be highlighted in red, with pink showing unassigned tasks, amber showing tasks which are in date but not yet completed and green showing completed tasks.

Managers can then select users who have access to view each grid.

There is no limit to the number of Key Task groups that can be built.

This functionality will also allow Tasks to be reported on in order to evidence specific requirements such as completing the DfE's new estates return, which will go live for the first time in mid-September 2026.
