We are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new mobile app - available for iOS and Android phones and tablets.

Introducing the New Handsam My Tasks App

Getting started takes just a couple of minutes, and because it’s a one-time registration, you only need to link your account once.

1. Download & Install: Search for the app in your device's app store, install it, and open it up.

2. Access Your Profile: On a separate device (like your laptop or desktop), log into your main Handsam account.

3. Navigate to Profile: Head to My Handsam > My Profile.

4. Scan to Link: In the mobile app, tap the 'Scan API QR code' button and scan the QR code displayed on your profile screen.

Once scanned, registration takes just a few minutes while the app pulls down your essential data to prepare for seamless offline working. When the main menu displays, you are ready to go!

If you ever need to hand a shared device over to a colleague, then unlinking is just as simple. Tap the hamburger menu in the top right corner and select 'Unlink User'. The app will wipe all stored data clean, leaving it ready for the next team member to link their own account.

True Offline Capability: Work Without Interruption

We know that internet access isn't always reliable, so whether you are working in a basement, moving across across sites, or out on the playing field you'll be able to access the full functionality of the app. Our software engineers have built full offline support right into the app's core.

You can continue doing almost everything while offline. Any feedback added, photos taken, or status updates made are stored safely inside the app. Once your device reconnects to the internet and the app is open on your screen, the app pushes your changes automatically in the background without interrupting your work.

Important Offline Details to Remember:

• While offline, you cannot download new files. However, any file you view while online is automatically cached in the app for 30 days. This allows you to prep and view key documents ahead of time if you know you'll be entering a low-signal area.

• Background syncing typically takes less than 60 seconds once reconnected, depending on how much work you completed while offline.

• To ensure your data pushes successfully to the cloud, make sure your device is connected to the internet and the app is open and active on your screen.
